Mission
The San Joaquin Delta College Community Service Program sponsors the West Coast Shootout to provide an opportunity for young women to compete in a quality basketball environment and gain exposure as young student-athletes. Our goal is to provide a competitive tournament for young players to be challenged and to have the opportunity to play in front of college recruiters. Our shootout has been established as one of the only tournaments on the West Coast that has been committed to showcasing community college players. The WCS has recently become an even stronger showcase with the addition of a High School Division and a Competitive Division. The WCS has been NCAA certified every year.
